The project is inspired by the aesthetics of the early 2000s—an era of dreams, raves, and cosmic romance. The images of The Little Mermaid and Sailor Moon bring to life the nostalgia for a naive belief in miracles.
Thus, "Poles" becomes a metaphor—the meeting of past and future, man and machine, art and algorithm.
